Our Recent Project

Sustainable Agriculture And Livelihood For Communities

The Sustainable Agriculture and Livelihood for Communities project, led by BBP-Pariwar in Ramechhap Municipality, Ramechhap District, supports women-led farming households through integrated, sustainable agricultural interventions. The project focuses on improving food security, income, and environmental resilience. Core activities include Livestock support with improved breeding support, construction of improved animal sheds, and training in agroecology, livestock management, and market-oriented vegetable farming. Women will also receive support in producing organic fertilizers, bio-pesticides, and vermicompost, along with forming and managing self-help groups for savings, credit, and leadership. Kitchen gardening, fruit tree plantation, and farmer exchange visits enhance nutrition and knowledge sharing. The project promotes women’s empowerment, sustainable farming practices, and long-term community self-reliance.
