WHO WE ARE ?

VISION

“Create just a society valuing people’s culture, self-dignity and beliefs”

MISSION

“Strengthen the capacity of the backward section of people in the community particularly women, but also under-served, marginalized, poor, Dalit, and voiceless, with their full participation to achieve favorable results and positive change in their lives and future generations”

GOAL

“To improve the social connection, increase economic prosperity, strengthen food security, provide educational opportunities, support people to live healthier and regenerate the environment in true partnership and with the full participation of community people.”

OUR IMPACT

  1. BBP Pariwar works with partner organizations to provide health services to approximately 20,000–24,000 people in a year, especially women in rural areas and organizes medical camps for women’s health issues. BBP Pariwar also provides scholarships for formal agriculture, animal health, and ANM (Auxiliary nurse midwife) education, with the goal of serving the community and improving their economic status.
  2. Every year, BBP Pariwar provides special health services to around 1,100 women by conducting health camps for diseases (such as cervix cancer, eyes, teeth, throat, family planning, and reproductive health).
  3. With the help of BBP Pariwar, farmers can produce and use liquid manure, organic pesticides, organic manure, compost manure, vermicompost, and other organic fertilizers in their fields, allowing them to maximize production while avoiding the negative effects of chemical fertilizer use on the soil and humans.
  4. Every year, farmers are planting home nurseries of different types of fodder grasses and cultivating them in their fields to provide nutritious grass for their livestock without affecting the crops.
  5. The female members of the groups are able to establish mutual proximity in the community and improve food security through cultivating various value-added fruits and vegetables, herbs, and generating income through livestock husbandry (goat, swine, cow, and buffalo), stall improvement programs with the financial, technical, and educational support and guidance of BBP Pariwar, and also participating in various educational tours to improve livestock management.
  6. Saving and credit programs are being implemented in the community, particularly with the participation of women, in order to fulfill community needs such as enrollment of children in school, health care, economic growth, etc. As a result, women are given priority at home and in the community, and they are able to boost their self-esteem.
  7. As a result of the successful community participation in the construction and maintenance of the drinking water system, women are able to save time carrying water and spend that time on productive work.
